Azienda Vinicola Luigi Gregoletto
The Gregoletto family looks back on a long tradition in the world of wine. Documents show that vines were already being cultivated on the hills of Premaor di Miane at the beginning of the seventeenth century. In keeping with this historic character, the building that houses the cellar preserves a seventeenth-century structure.
The family's wine business gained real momentum above all in the post-war period thanks to Luigi Gregoletto, who began making wine according to criteria of quality and typicity. Today the company owns eighteen hectares of vineyards in the mid- and high hills of the municipalities of Miane, San Pietro di Feletto and Refrontolo. The harvest is carried out by hand at different times to achieve the ideal ripeness of the grapes (differentiated harvest). The grapes are pressed the same day and the resulting musts are kept separate by origin.
At harvest the Prosecco is bottled in three different versions: as a still wine, as Gregoletto — the family's jewel — and as an Extra Dry sparkling wine. The sparkling Prosecco is produced by the method of natural bottle fermentation "on the lees".
