Passion has a long history in the Maremma. Today's weariness, strength and courage are the same that the men of the Maremma have always shown, when for centuries they struggled against a rebellious nature that was hard to tame. The challenge in this land, which mankind was able to make magnificent and generous through its courage, renews itself anew every day. This magical land needs people capable of taking up the challenge that nature has set before mankind for centuries. Our family has done so, with great respect for this nature and this tradition, made up of noblemen, cowboys and farmers: men whom we came to know and who inspired us with our love for these places. Our story, like many others, is one of those that simply wish to make their contribution by carrying on the centuries-old tradition of loving and cultivating the land. Founded at the end of the 1990s, the Terenzi estate today has 150 hectares of land, of which 60 hectares of vineyards and 14 hectares of magnificent, centuries-old olive trees. The 3,000-square-metre cellar was built only a few kilometres from Scansano and is the beating heart of the company. It was constructed in harmony with the landscape, without forgoing the most modern technologies, which are geared towards absolute quality and respect for the environment.
