Quadra
Since 2003 · conventional
Quadra dates back to 2003, when Ugo Ghezzi decided to buy a small estate and completely renovate it. He was an entrepreneur in the field of renewable energy, and his idea was supported by his children Cristina and Marco.
In fact, the Ghezzi family had already begun their viticultural project in the early 1990s, when they planted their first Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines in the area known as Marzaghette d'Adro, where they founded a farm of the same name.
Our estate was expanded between 1999 and 2004 and today comprises 20 hectares (about 49 acres) spread across 5 different sites in the surrounding area. Our vineyards stretch from the historic district of St. Eusebio in the town of Cologne, where our winery is located, to the many parcels planted with Pinot Noir in the nearby town of Provaglio d'Iseo.
More than 20 years after the start of our winemaking project, at Quadra we today express our local and national identity through our unique style in interpreting Franciacorta wine. Mario Falcetti runs the estate, supported by agronomist and production manager Sergio Gatti and the wine expert Antonia Tancredi, who heads quality control.
